mutherboard runs its own company from this venue every day — stand-ups, all-hands, client workshops, the lot. When you book a viewing, the tour guide is someone whose desk is actually in the building.
Questions planners ask us
Do guests need to install anything?
No. The Lodge runs in the browser on desktop and laptop — guests click one link, pick an avatar and walk in. No accounts or downloads needed.
How many people can attend?
The Lodge comfortably hosts events from 5 to 500 guests. For larger conferences we split programming across the Auditorium and Expo Hall.
What does 'hosted' actually mean?
A member of the mutherboard team is inside the venue for your event: greeting guests at the door, moving sessions along, and solving tech hiccups so you can focus on your agenda.
How does conversation work in a virtual venue?
Video and audio are proximity-based — walk up to someone and a conversation starts, step away and it fades, exactly like a real room. Private zones keep meetings closed-door.
Is it secure?
Yes — entry is by guest list or password, private areas are sound-isolated, and nothing is recorded unless you ask us to.
