Blink Payment Manager Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Blink Payment Manager (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

1. Description of Service

1.1 Overview

Blink Payment Manager is a monday.com board view application that integrates with the Blink Payment API to enable users to:

• Create Paylinks and recurring plans from monday.com boards
• Keep Paylink Statuses and payments up to date on the board
• Manage payment requests through a dashboard
• Track payment history and pending payments

1.2 Service Scope

The App provides:

• Integration: a connection between monday.com and the Blink Payment API
• Automation: optional rules you set up, including creating a Paylink when an item's Paylink Status changes to "Ready for Payment"
• Dashboard: a view of Paylinks and their statuses
• Payment updates: card payments update the board when Blink Payment notifies the App. Blink Payment does not send these notifications for Open Banking payments, so the App checks Blink regularly and you can also mark a payment as paid yourself.

1.3 What the App Does NOT Provide

• Payment processing (handled by Blink Payment)
• Financial advice or accounting services
• Dispute resolution or refund processing
• Customer support for end-user payment issues

2. Eligibility and Account Requirements

2.1 Account Requirements

To use the App, you must have:

• An active monday.com account in which the App is installed (installing apps normally needs monday.com admin rights)
• A valid Blink Payment account with active API credentials
• Legal authority to bind your organisation to these Terms
• Edit rights on a board to create Paylinks there (viewers have read-only access)

2.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.

2.3 Geographic Restrictions

The App is available worldwide, but Blink Payment services may have geographic limitations.

2.4 User Access Levels

Blink Payment Manager respects monday.com's permission system:

• Editors/Admins: Full access to create Paylinks, configure settings, and manage credentials.
• Viewers: Read-only access to view payment history. Viewers cannot create Paylinks, access Settings, or modify credentials. A "View Only Mode" banner indicates viewer status.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete Blink API credentials
• Ensure all payment information (amounts, emails, references) is correct
• Update credentials immediately if they change or are compromised

3.2 Compliance with Laws

You agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the App for illegal activities, fraud, or money laundering
• Follow payment industry regulations (PCI DSS, anti-money laundering laws)
• Comply with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

3.3 Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your monday.com and Blink Payment credentials secure
• Monitoring your account for unauthorised activity
• Reporting any security breach to us straight away at [email protected]

3.4 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited payment requests
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access controls
• Use the App in a way that disrupts monday.com or Blink Payment services
• Create Paylinks for prohibited products or services

4. Blink Payment Integration

4.1 Third-Party Service

Blink Payment is a third-party service operated by Blink Payment Limited (UK). Your use of Blink Payment services is governed by their own Terms and Privacy Policy.

4.2 No Liability for Blink Payment

We are not responsible for:

• Blink Payment service availability or performance
• Payment processing errors or failures
• Blink Payment fee structure or pricing changes
• Disputes between you and Blink Payment

5. monday.com Integration

5.1 Platform Dependency

The App operates on the monday.com platform. You must comply with monday.com's Terms of Service and App Marketplace Terms.

5.2 Permissions

By installing the App, you permit us to:

• Read data from boards where the App's board view has been added, and from boards on which you set up an automation
• Write to the App's columns on those boards
• Create board webhooks for the automation rules you set up
• Send monday.com notifications about payments and automations
• Follow monday.com's permission levels (for example viewer or editor)
• Store Blink credentials per monday.com account (shared by all its boards)

5.3 Using the App on Several Boards

Account-level credentials: Blink Payment API credentials are stored per monday.com account. Every board in the account that uses the App shares the same connection to Blink Payment.

• When you add the App to another board, it finds the existing credentials
• You can use the existing credentials or replace them
• Replacing the credentials on any board changes them for ALL boards in the account; the App warns you before you do this

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 App Pricing

Pricing for the App, and any free trial, is shown on the App's listing in the monday.com marketplace, and subscriptions are billed through monday.com. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to pricing.

6.2 Blink Payment Fees

You are responsible for all fees charged by Blink Payment for Paylink creation, transaction processing, and API usage.

7. Service Availability and Limitations

7.1 Uptime

We strive to maintain high availability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7.2 Support

We provide support by email at [email protected] and aim to reply within 48 hours. The App also includes a Help guide.

7.3 Limitations

• Open Banking payments are not reported to the App by Blink Payment as they happen; they appear after the App's regular check, or when you mark them as paid
• The App does not issue refunds or capture payments; manage these in Blink Payment
• The App can be added to up to three boards per monday.com account

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App's source code, architecture, logos, trademarks, and documentation.

8.2 User Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of functionality, data accuracy, and third-party service availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

10.1 Exclusion of Damages

We are NOT liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

10.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or illegal use of Paylinks.

12. Data Privacy and Security

12.1 Privacy Policy

Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Credentials kept in monday.com's SecureStorage; any working copy on the App's server encrypted with AES-256
• HTTPS/TLS for data in transit
• The App's data for your account deleted when the App is uninstalled from your monday.com account, as described in the Privacy Policy
• Requests to Blink Payment go only to Blink's own address
• Strict input validation
• Rate limits to prevent abuse

12.2 User Rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by emailing [email protected], as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your monday.com account. The App then deletes the data it holds for the account as soon as monday.com's uninstall notice reaches it (see the Privacy Policy, section 6).

Important:

• Removing the board view from a board does not uninstall the App and deletes nothing. Your credentials stay in place for your other boards.
• Blink Payment: uninstalling does NOT delete your Blink Payment account or the paylinks and payments held by Blink Payment. Contact Blink Payment to manage that data.
• monday.com data: board items and columns remain after uninstalling. Only data held by the App is deleted.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

15.2 Arbitration

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the United Kingdom.
